Been well busy since I got my placement confirmed! Here’s the stuff I can remember:

1. Spent a whole weekend doing VSO coursework for my upcoming “skills working in development” course, which i’m on this weekend. Not the most exciting weekend i’ve ever had, but was good to do it in one hit, and hopefully will get me my international development foundation level degree! Do you know what that means…? Nope, me neither!

2. Dental checkup as advised by VSO. Smiling face says everything was great! 30 years old and no fillings - thats what happens from always brushing twice a day kids!

3. Handed in my notice on my job and my flat. What with christmas and holiday I have to use up thats only 31 days in the office!

Critically, I’ve now passed the point of no return…

Oh, and 68 days (I think) until Ethiopia…
